Cherin Tan is Laank’s Principal and Creative Director creating highly-developed, experiential spaces in commercial sectors such as Hospitality, F&B, Office and retail environments, as well as designing unique collections of lifestyle product designs.

With a simple mission to put human needs and brand desires at the core of all that she does. As founder of Laank, together with her work family across Singapore, Thailand & Philippines, they bring Laank’s philosophy to life.

This means creating environments where people feel relatable; spaces that people feel excited for and Brands that make sense for the people who live in them. It means designing the experience, furniture and results that support and enhance human behaviour and emotion in everyday life. It means restoring the human balance in brands and that have lost their way.

With the demonstration of dedicated heartfelt concepts and expressive narratives signature to her extensive body of work, Laank is internationally recognised for creating & rebuilding Brands spatially with distinctive design awards and numerous publications.
